What a travel creator does, and what I make
A travel creator plans a trip, takes it, and publishes what other travelers need to plan their own: the itinerary, where to stay, which trails and sights are worth the time, what to eat and what it costs. I publish that as Rock n Roam: travel guides and road trip itineraries on this site, Instagram reels, carousels and stories, TikTok videos, Pinterest pins that lead back to the guides, and YouTube videos. Every guide is written from my own trip, with my own photographs.
Photography is my profession, so the pictures come first. I shoot landscapes and nature, hotels and resorts, food and products in use on the road, and brand campaigns, family shoots and events in Los Angeles. The Photography page shows the personal work.
Travel content creator for tourism boards, hotels and brands
Tourism boards and visitors bureaus hire me to visit, photograph a destination and publish a guide with social posts from the trip. Madera County, Temecula, Discover Buellton, Santa Rosa, Visit Carson City and Visit Mesa have done that. Hotels, resorts and glamping stays book reels, posts and photos from a stay. Airlines, car rental, travel and outdoor gear, fashion, wellness, food and drink brands book sponsored posts, reels, stories, blog features and user generated content (UGC) with licensing for their own channels. Past work includes Vietnam Airlines, Hertz, Bose, Clinique, Timberland, Walmart, Michael Kors, Kay Jewelers and Fabletics.
Rates, packages and past campaigns by type of partner are on the Partnerships page, with a form to ask about a campaign.
Where I am based and where I travel
I live in Los Angeles and post from California most: Los Angeles, Yosemite, Big Sur, the Central Coast, Mammoth Lakes, Joshua Tree and wine country. The national parks of Utah, Arizona, Oregon and Nevada are the next most frequent. I travel abroad several times a year; the pages below cover each place, and the destinations index lists every location on this site with its posts and guides.
